Biden Allies Ready To Pounce On Harris If She Included Biden Detail In Book

Former President Joe Biden’s allies are reportedly prepared to “escalate” if former Vice President Kamala Harris questioned his mental fitness in her forthcoming book, according to veteran political journalist Mark Halperin.

Speaking Friday on “The Morning Meeting,” Halperin said stories about Harris’s time as Biden’s second-in-command are “Palinesque,” referencing former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who was widely criticized for being unprepared during her 2008 run as the Republican vice-presidential nominee, the New York Post reported.

“I will tell you, and this has never been reported, barely at all: if the Biden people decide that Kamala is coming after Joe Biden, wait till you hear the ‘Palinesque’ stories about how much they tried to help her be prepared to be vice president and be in a position to run. And how much they decided, ‘Not happening. She’s not up to this,’” Halperin said.
