Trump Urges Country To Not Dwell On Epstein After Memo Release

President Donald Trump on Saturday noted in a lengthy Truth Social post that he supports embattled members of his administration while asking the country to stop focusing on the late financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump’s post comes amid reports that his attorney general, Pam Bondi, as well as his top FBI officials, Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, were in conflict over a memo released last week by the Justice Department saying there is no so-called “Epstein list,” no conspiracy surrounding his suicide while in custody, and that no further information regarding the case is set for release.

Several reports claimed that Bongino was upset by the declaration and essentially gave the administration an ultimatum: Either Bondi goes, or he would step down from his position. Since those initial reports, he has not addressed the situation publicly, though Patel and Bondi have both stated publicly they intend to remain in their positions.
