SEVEN TRUMP CAMPAIGN PROPOSALS THAT SHOW HE’S GETTING DESPERATE

Donald Trump’s campaign is now in a desperate phase, making multiple off-the-cuff promises to boost his chances in the 2024 race.

Recent proposals include abolishing taxes on tips, overtime pay, and Social Security, making in-vitro fertilization free, capping credit card interest rates, cutting car insurance rates, and restoring the state and local tax deduction. These pledges, which would cost at least $3.2 trillion, have little detail and are unlikely to be enacted, as they conflict with Republican orthodoxy and lack political benefits.
