The Young and Restless star dead at 66 years of age

For her portrayal of Tina, the actress received a Daytime Emmy nomination.

The world was in mourning as Andrea Evans, one of the biggest stars of daytime television, passed away at age 66.

Her longtime manager, Don Carroll, disclosed that the renowned actress passed away on Sunday due to cancer. Nick Leicht, her manager at the time, expressed his sorrow over her passing.

I’ve been collaborating with Andrea for the past seven years. He remarked of her, “She was such a tremendous talent and an absolute joy to work with.”

One Life to Live’s Tina Lord, a troubled adolescent, and The Young and the Restless’ Patty Williams are two of Andrea’s most well-known daytime roles.

She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 1988 for Outstanding Ingenue in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Tina.

The late personality was honored on Twitter by Frank Valentini, the current and previous executive producers of General Hospital and One Life to Live, respectively.

The news of Andrea Evans’ passing, he remarked, “deeply saddens me.” “Andrea was already a big star when I started at OLTL,” he continued.

She was a delight to work with and always kind and helpful. An important figure in the midday. I send my sympathies to her friends and family.

For her performance as Vivian Price in the web series DeVanity, Andrea was nominated for a second Daytime Emmy in 2015 for Outstanding Performer in a New Approaches Drama Series.

Outside of daytime drama, Andrea’s other notable television roles include Rebecca Hotchkiss on Passions and Patty Walker on The Bay.
