Travis Kelce reportedly spent over $8 million romancing Taylor Swift.

How much does it cost to win the heart of one of the world’s biggest stars? Millions, reportedly north of $8 million. At least, that’s how much football player Travis Kelce reportedly paid for Taylor Swift.According to The New York Post, Kelce has spent a lot of money courting Swift. He reportedly makes $14 million per year and spends more than half of it on Swift-related expenses.

These expenses include gifts, however he did not spend the greatest money on items that can be wrapped and tied with a bow. He also spent a significant portion of those millions on travel fees to see Swift and a new property he purchase.

For example, after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, Kelce flew to Singapore to hang out with Swift and attend her concert. According to an analyst who spoke with the Post, Kelce’s trip alone likely cost more than $500,000. This is one of three lavish flights he’s taken to see Swift since their relationship became public in September.

According to Valerie Greenberg, a pop culture and lifestyle specialist, “Travis Kelce always comes to play—not just on the field, but in his everyday romance with Taylor Swift—sparing no expense.” Greenberg continued, “He isn’t afraid to open his heart and wallet.”

Kelce has a net worth of more than $50 million, but he’s currently dating a millionaire, therefore his living expenses have increased significantly. For example, Kelce appeared to believe that it was vital to improve his living situation. He previously lived in a 7-bedroom property that he purchased for slightly under $1 million in 2019. He moved to a more private neighborhood in October, but privacy comes at a higher cost. He now lives in a 17,000-square-foot estate that he purchased for $6 million.

The Post also believes that Kelce spent more than $1 million on private flights to visit Swift. For example, one trip to Argentina most likely cost him over $300,000. Another flight to Sydney, Australia, would certainly cost him more than $300,000. Then there’s the trip to Singapore, which cost him almost $500,000.

Kelce spent more over $7 million on a new home and flying expenses, but he also lavished Swift with costly presents and dates. For example, he reportedly spent more than $2000 on roses for Swift for Valentine’s Day. He reportedly lavished her with other pricey gifts, including a $5000 Bottega Veneta purse and a Hermès Chevaux Dechaines scarf for over $1000. He also purchased similar bracelets that cost more than $6000.

While this next purchase was not solely for Swift, Kelce spent over $1 million to secure a private box for his friends and family during the Super Bowl.
