Bence Horvath, 47, a dual citizen of Hungary and Spain who lived in the United Arab Emirates, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court to 31 months in prison for planning to send U.S.-made radio communications technology to Russian end users without a license.
On June 17, 2025, Horvath admitted to one count of conspiring to send commodities to Russia illegally. Along with the jail time, U.S. District Court Judge John D. Bates told Horvath to serve three years of supervised release and pay a $5,000 fine.
