Leaders Share a Joke at Copenhagen Summit
European leaders couldn’t resist poking fun at Donald Trump this week after yet another geography blunder. The former U.S. president confused Albania with Azerbaijan—two very different countries—while boasting about his foreign policy record.
At a summit in Copenhagen on October 2, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama turned to French President Emmanuel Macron and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev with a grin. “You should apologize to us because you didn’t congratulate us on the peace deal that President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan,” he joked, according to Politico.
