Pete Hegseth Faces Unprecedented Threats, Requires Historic Security Detail

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has triggered an unprecedented expansion of personal security resources—now deemed the largest protective detail in modern Pentagon history. Since his appointment, the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) has reassigned over 500 agents—more than triple the standard number of approximately 150—to guard Hegseth, his current wife, two ex-wives, and children.
