U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Jeanine Pirro, has announced federal charges against an Indiana woman accused of making deadly threats toward President Donald Trump. Authorities say the threats were explicit, targeted, and credible enough to prompt immediate federal action.
Pirro stated in her announcement: “No matter where threats originate, whether online or in person, the Department of Justice will pursue those who endanger the lives of current or former presidents.” The Indiana woman, whose name has been withheld until court appearances, was taken into custody earlier this week.
