Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., did not dismiss the possibility of a 2028 presidential run when asked by Fox News Digital about a viral video that sparked speculation she may be subtly launching a future campaign.
“I think what people should be most concerned about is the fact that Republicans are trying to cut Medicaid right now, and people’s healthcare is in danger. That’s really what my central focus is,” she claimed when Fox News asked her about a potential presidential bid.
President Donald Trump and Republicans have repeatedly said they aren’t cutting Medicaid or Medicare benefits but are focused on eliminating the waste, fraud, and abuses that Elon Musk’s DOGE team has reportedly found in both systems.
