Former NFL Player Warrick Dunn Donates 173rd Home to Single Mom That’s Fully Furnished

In a heartwarming gesture that transcends the gridiron glory, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Warrick Dunn continues to light up lives in Florida. Following his retirement from the NFL, Dunn has devoted his efforts to spreading joy and stability to families through his nonprofit, Warrick Dunn Charities. Collaborating with Habitat for Humanity, Dunn has recently presented a fully furnished two-bedroom home to LaToya Reedy and her young adult son, AnTrez, in St. Petersburg.

LaToya, at 39, couldn’t contain her happiness and relief when she spoke to the Tampa Bay Times, saying, “Being a homeowner now, I can be at home.” Her journey to this moment was filled with hurdles. The struggle involved sharing a cramped space at her mother’s house, taking turns sleeping on a bed, while juggling work as a nursing assistant.
