Cheney Shredded For Her Response To GOP Lawmakers Supporting Trump At Trial

Former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, who agreed to co-chair the highly partisan and Democrat-led Jan. 6 Committee, was widely derided on social media Wednesday after she was critical of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Republicans who have been traveling to Manhattan over the past week in a show of support for Donald Trump during his hush money trial.

Cheney, a vocal critic of Trump and his allies, took to X to express her disapproval of Johnson’s actions, writing: “Have to admit I’m surprised that @SpeakerJohnson wants to be in the ‘I cheated on my wife with a porn star’ club. I guess he’s not that concerned with teaching morality to our young people after all.”
