The Lion King fans are in shock. The iconic actor passed away today.

He was 93 years old.

It was reported early Monday morning that the famous actor who was in The Lion King, Field of Dreams, Star Wars, and other movies had died at his home in New York.

According to Deadline, some information about his death was not immediately available.

Fan tributes to the legend on social media after he died.

It was James’s most famous work that he did as the voice of Darth Vader in The Lion King and Coming to America.

“WORTHWHILE VOICES”

Fans quickly sent pictures of their favorite James movie scenes and messages of sympathy on X.

“May you rest in peace, James Earl Jones.” Someone wrote, “One of the most powerful, evocative, and emotional voices in film history.”

“Rest in peace, GOAT James Earl Jones,” said someone else.

“The effect that James Earl Jones had on Star Wars cannot be overstated,” said a third blogger.

According to Lana Del Rey’s ex-wife, her kids went to a festival with the singer.
