A new poll shows former President Donald Trump now has a commanding lead over President Joe Biden in a major swing state vital to victory in November.
The survey commissioned exclusively by and for the Detroit Free Press found Trump leading Biden in that state by 7 points, his biggest lead over the current commander-in-chief in the must-win state this election cycle. Trump won Michigan in 2016, but Biden won in 2020.
